Keukenhof, known as the “Garden of Europe,” is one of the world’s largest flower gardens, dating back to the 15th century when it served as a hunting and herb garden for Countess Jacoba van Beieren.

Transformed into a spring park in 1949 by Dutch bulb growers, it now spans 32 hectares, showcasing around 7 million flower bulbs annually.

A global icon of Dutch horticulture, it draws visitors from all over the world.

Go to the back of Amsterdam Central Station, take the free Buiksloterweg ferry from the river IJ side (departs every 5 minutes).

The ferry ride takes a few minutes, and THIS IS HOLLAND is a 3-minute walk from the ferry exit.


How to Board the Bus:
Show your smartphone voucher at THIS IS HOLLAND to receive your return bus ticket and Keukenhof entrance ticket.


⚠️  Important:

  • Your selected timeslot is for the bus departure.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time

  • The last bus from Keukenhof to Amsterdam departs at 18:30.

You can cancel it directly on the email sent to you right after the purchase from the ticket provider until 4 days before your visit for a full refund.

Unfortunately, after the 4 days window before the scheduled time, cancellations are not possible.

Plan to spend a 1/2 day to whole day at Keukenhof. There is a lot to see, do and eat! Great place for families. My kids loved the playground. It was easy to navigate and get ready to walk.
